As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Heidelberg Engineering GmbH, Munich Surgical Imaging has integrated state-of-the-art OCT technology into its surgical solutions and expanded its product portfolio into ophthalmology by developing a fully digital visualisation platform from scratch.

Your responsibilities
- Primary responsibility for coordinating and organising the assembly area, including ensuring order, cleanliness and adherence to processes
- Assembly of medical technology assemblies in the ESD environment:
- Assembly of mechanical, electronic and optical assemblies
- Rework & labeling
- Assurance of the quality of the assembly
- Preparation of documentation for all assembly activities in the medical technology environment (production orders, work instructions, general documentation)
- Support in the execution of acceptance tests
- Packing suitable for shipment
- Prototype construction for development devices
- Parts disposition from the warehouse
- Collaboration in the preparation of technical drawings, parts lists, change notices
- Collaboration in activities in the PDM system such as transfer of data into the PDM system
Your qualifications
- Completed vocational training as precision mechanic, mechatronics technician or in a similar field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the assembly of medical devices, optical assemblies or similar
- Experience in the use of Solidworks or comparable tools preferred
- Basic knowledge of relevant norms and standards
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
