Munich Surgical Imaging is a high-tech company specialising in fully digital surgical microscopy, surgical imaging and image-guided applications. The company's first surgical platform for ENT surgery has been praised by surgeons for its outstanding 3D image quality and the integration of 3D imaging with preoperative data. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Heidelberg Engineering GmbH, Munich Surgical Imaging has integrated state-of-the-art OCT technology into its surgical solutions and expanded its product portfolio to include ophthalmology by developing a fully digital visualisation platform entirely from scratch. 

As part of a backfill, we are looking for a service technician (m/f/d), ideally from the field of medical technology, to start as soon as possible on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) to provide support in the Service & Support department.

Your responsibilities

  • Support primarily end customers with device-specific questions as well as the repair and maintenance of the devices on site.
  • Carrying out device and system inspections, safety checks (STK, MTK, etc.) as well as maintenance, taking into account the legal regulations and provisions (MPG, MPBetriebV)
  • Technical remote diagnostics, troubleshooting, creation of detailed problem reports
  • Advice and support for customers, dealers and service partners
  • Documentation of complaints, activities carried out and work results in the CRM system
  • Participation in the further development of customer service with the aim of increasing customer satisfaction and efficiency
  • Collaboration and support in other projects of the department at the company headquarters in Munich

Your qualifications

  • Completed technical training, technician training or studies in the field of electrical engineering / medical technology.
  • Good knowledge of electronics and mechanics
  • Ideally very good knowledge and experience in the area of legal regulations for medical devices and equipment
  • Confident knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Driving licence class 3/B
